As of right now, I'm rolling with a stock e24. I have so much body roll on my '81 633csi. I want to get coilovers but i dont know which ones. Anyone have recommendations and prices? Thanks

Apparently H&R is releasing a coilover setup for the e28 chassis with a full strut assembly for the front end585010

But you need to send in yours for rebuilding them at H&R.

Perhaps a cheaper route is a strutbar? When I had stock springs and Bilstein HD's on my 635 , I had little body roll.

Larger sway bars from a euro model would help a lot actually.

The H&R is for the e28 chassis not the early e12 chassis. I made a set for my track car back in the early 90s myself and I am sure if you do a little research; you can construct your own. Check the firstfives.org site to see if you can find more info there. It has been too long for me to remember what I did at that time.

I believe Ireland Engineering had some stuff for the e12 chassis

Ireland etc can make a coil over set up for just about any model. They just need your front strut tubes and will modify accordingly with adjustable spring perches and of course supply with appropriate springs. The rears just use an adjustable threaded perch on the shocks and of course new springs..
