Remapping?

Hi All, I would like to get a little more power from my 2013 Mini Cooper. A friend suggested a reputable remapping firm but this will only give me an extra 8bhp, 130 up from 122. Is this worth it? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I live in France so getting parts can be a chore sometimes.
