Going to need a tune on my car as I'm about to add an AA track pipe and I want to turn the rear O2's off.

Car currently has a Dinan tune that I'll use with the stock cats when its time for smog.

Car has Dinan intake, stock injectors/MAF, M50 manifold, Euro long tube headers, AA track pipe, AA exhaust.

I know both Epic and AA come with the cord so I can plug in and swap between their map and my current Dinan map.

My setup isn't anything special, I'm sure both companies have a tune already made for all my mods.

Question is, what are the real world impressions of the tunes? Dyno's?

TIA!

I have intake, m50, AA track pipe & exhaust. I had the epic installed last week and tracked the car last weekend. Very happy so far...I wouldn' t say night and day difference from before, but the power delivery is smooth and she really screams in the higher RPM's

Did you have a tune before? If so, which one and why'd you change over to Epic?

Personally I don't think the off-the-shelf tunes add much value, I think you are better off tuning on a dyno. If you don't have a local shop that can tune the E36 take a look at Rom Raider: (http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=42). Rom Raider will allow you to delete EWS and post-cat O2s as well.

TRM. You don't need to switch around tunes for such basic mods. I felt a noticeable difference after doing the m50 manifold and adding TRM's tune got rid of sap and rear 02 sensors as well
