eibach e36 kit

How do you recognize an eibach spring pro kit, is it marked with eibach? or haves the code? (on the spring ), i have a guy that is selling a set of pro kit´s (from his recently wrecked 325) but they are really cheap and i would like to check that!.

Eibach's part number for the Pro-Kit is 2033.140, for 2&4 door hardtops, and I am pretty sure that they paint the part number onto each spring. Now, how long it lasts after installation is another question. Eibach Pro-Kit springs are painted black.

The numbers printed on the springs are going to be different than the kit number.

Mine are black, and have "Eibach" stenciled on them.
