New member thinking of changing from 320d to 320i.. Advice needed

Hi all
Firstly I'm a newbie so apologies if I haven't put this thread in the right place.

After some advice currently I have a 2006 320d which I do like however just seen a 2009 320i convertible which I really like but I'm wondering if they are a good engine and what are the common issues?

It looks in good nick however service history is 50-70% there it's on 100k miles and the guy is wanting 8k

Just wanted your thoughts and advice

Not sure which engine the 320i comes with in the UK - think it's a 4 cylinder?

And presumably that's 8K pounds - seems like an ok price for that miles and convertible.
