anyone have a DIY to show how to open ellipsoids

I don't about Bosch specifically but they all should be about the same. What part are you trying to open, the back where the light bulbs go in or the front where you can seperate the glass?

one of my "adjuster" pins went into the actual housing (i can see it, but it's embedded).

this pin is the one that is held in by the two gears (one gear of which you use to adjust with an allen/phillips)

pull the metal clips off of the top and bottom of the light(4)

undo clips on the side
open
that's it :)
