1995 318ti 5-speed (https://www.panjo.com/buy/1995-318ti-5-speed-317631?utm_source=Panjo&utm_medium=bbcode&utm_campaign=ShareYourListing)
Listing this very nice e36 as I do not have use for it at the moment. I have owned it since winter of this year. 196K on the clock. Car has not been abused or heavily modified. Driveline is solid, car accelerates well, shifts smoothly through all gears and corners very nicely. The 318ti hatchback is a really cool and useful configuration of the e36 platform, and clean ones are hard to come by. This is a good, solid daily driver with a documented maintenance history...or a great candidate for modification.
Background:
The previous owner, who did an excellent job baselining the car, wrote up a very nice summary earlier this year (see http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83515), which I am taking the liberty of including here as it contains a good and accurate rundown with pictures of the overall condition and recent maintenance done on the car.
Highlights:
Slicktop
Stock M42 engine with OBD1
One owner car up until last year, original owner's maintenance log since new
Hellrot paint in decent shape
Stock exhaust replaced with Remus catback recently installed
New plugs
3.45 LSD with new Powerflex bushing installed
Valve cover and OFH gaskets replaced
H&R struts/springs in the front, Bilsteins in the rear
Fresh transmission and differential fluids
Injectors, MAF and throttle body recently cleaned
New alternator 2015
New battery 2014
Thermostat, upper/lower radiator hoses and belts replaced in 2013
Power steering reservoir and hoses replaced in 2009
Car received regular (on average every two years) coolant changes per original owner's maintenance log
What the car will need:
Brake pad sensor light is on due to severed brake sensor wire in the front
Light rust (quarter sized) at front jacking points (nothing structural), PO wirewheeled and undercoated to stabilize, this should receive attention before winter if winter driving is in order
Usual BMW headliner sag
Car is running on stock steelies (sizing is 185/65R 15), not the Type 2s pictured in the write-up above. Will need fresh tires soon and an alignment.
Car is due for new brake hoses and a brake fluid change as well.
Car will convey with maintenance records, M3 steering wheel (stock wheel currently swapped back on to the car), and a set of e39 fitment Borbets with snows.
Serious contacts only, and tank you for your interest.
