Hi all,
I have a e36 M3 sedan track car. I run a square setup of 17x9s with 12mm spacers up front. The spacers are hub centric. I have a vibration that starts between 70-80 mph that can be felt in the steering wheel. Don't feel it in the pedals or in the car itself, just in the wheel. The troubling part is that it seems to go away or lessen substantially if I load a corner. All my bushings look good and I have not found any excessive play in the ball joints or rod ends... Any suggestions?
Thanks

do a roadforce test to try to see if it's the tire or suspension components. That's done when the car is stationary but using rollers.

I've had a similar issue and the solution was replacing the LCAB's. I replaced mine then about 2.5 years later I had to do them again because the rubber deteriorated and softened quickly. I would double check those to see if there is play inside the bushing.

I have a similar problem and im new to the bimmer world. I know i need a new front suspension is that a good place to start with my shake at speed? I balanced the tires already. Im planning on getting a set of aftermarket front shocks with new stabilizers. After i get rid of the shake at speed then its time to make my baby go a lil faster...lol. Any idea's?????

Are you running hub extenders? I had use a 10mm spacer up front to clear my coilovers when i got squared wheels but spacers sketch me out so i went with turner spacers and 10mm hub extenders.
