View Full Version : Anyone have 215/35/18 on their E36???

I have Size 18's on my E36 318 convt with 225/40/18 and they rub on the rear? I was wondering if 225/35/18 will stop this from rubbing.
The 225/35/18 cost $124, while the current ones i have(225/40/18) cost $75. Are these tires really thin? Any advise?

215/35 is a rubber band size, you do NOT want those. Stick with 225/40 as that is the smallest width you should put on your car really, but DO roll the fenders or get other rims with 'proper' offset.
