I am looking for a specific connector called a "x18994" connector on the bmw diagrams. its a plug that goes into the starter immobilization switch on both an e36 and e46. I cannot seem to find a part number or a source to buy it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check www.realoem.com. Every electrical connector for your car is listed in one of the sections. Then, as noted, go to the dealer to order it.

Connector going to the visors on pretty much all late model BMW's is the same... should you find yourself in a salvage yard.

IIRC dealer only.
dealer does not show a harness going to this part. I found another plug that is very slightly different, but may work for me. Will keep you posted. Thanks.
