Hello everyone, i just bought a 540i automatic with 62k mileage [could'nt find any manual :( ] and i've been reading all around the forum for good mods but most seem inconclusive. so i want to know what mods do you think are worth it.... and what to service as well since i have no idea what the last owner had done on it recently. i will change oil and petrol filters, sparkplugs and valve cover gaskets but what else ?!

What year? That's crazy low mileage. Awesome!

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you want power, you can do a swap to an M60 manifold and (if you're willing to spend some money) headers and a freer-breathing exhaust system. Member DUDMD can reflash the DME for some more power and features.
If you want handling, it's pretty much like any other car - aftermarket suspension, bigger sway bars, and the like will benefit you, as will better rubber.
Aesthetics - whatever look you like. Everyone has a different idea of what constitutes "better" in looks. M5 bumpers are popular, tint, a great detailing job with paint correction if needed, lower ride height, whatever fits your taste and budget.

Thank you all, its a 1998 with M5 kit, already lowered on h&r setup and all been bushings seem pretty new and in great condition. Exhaust setup is on my mind just checking my options with dual conversion but cant do headers (will get her impounded in UAE). I dont know how to post pics im new here.. :D
