Have been watching since it was listed. I'd say it's currently worth 45-55k. Wish I could be a buyer.

not even RHD.

No such thing. Where would the steering box go? That area is full of turbos.

40k is a bargain IMO,,, it is an early car,, nr 53,, but take a look how stunning it is,,,, just like NEW,, and with cloth interior,, that is IMO a lot better to sit in

jesus,, how good looking this car is

An ALPINA B10 BT with that low KM/milage will cost that figure in Euros ,,€,,((40k)) in Europe,, and that is more than 40k US $ that is what i think,, and the condition on the car is almost immaculate,, amazing,,,,,,,, and with US toll and taxes etc etc,, + that 40k that i do not know what is,, i think the car is worth every single cent,,, what ever the buying price is,,, yes you have perhaps heard this before,, but the B10 BT is the greatest ,,fastest ,,most powerful E34 EVER made ,,,,,,,,(( more than just a single car)),,,,,, it is still today blinding fast,, and these 360 ponies are the most healthy horses .. i have ever driven as 360 hp car,,,

IMO,, the greatest E34 EVER,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Me too. If you don't want to drink alone, come on down. :)

I was about to bit on it when my wife chastised me for even thinking of spending the money I saved up for her 10 caret ring. Back to the mines I go.

Curious to learn how flawless it really is. But I guess we'll never know. I would have brought my Geiger counter with me to the inspection.

You cannot buy a Hyundai that looks and works exactly like a B10 Biturbo, but you CAN buy a cubic zircona that looks and works exactly like a 10ct diamond. Nomsayin?

Oh yeah, I know what you're saying. It's so true. Unfortunately my wife knows her diamonds so I'm forced to drive my $1k cars for a while longer. :(

And if anyone is interested in a poor man's Alpina B10,

Hell, I'll sell you mine for $30k and it will blow the doors off that car. Granted you have to add a (2) to the front of the mileage and it won't have that interior. But it would be an ACS widebody.

Yeah shocked it went for $77k, thats crazy, thought 50k max, there were 3 bidders fighting for it.

I wounder when the winner will show up on the forums asking about window regulators.

Someone who spends $77k on an E34 doesn't install window regulators by themselves.

I'm sorry. I love my e34 and have had it for ages but if I'm spending $77k on a car, it's not an e34 or probably even a BMW at all. I'm going as exotic as I can. Aston, Ferrari, or a p car.

Have to agree with this.

I suspect, though, that the buyer probably already has lots of fun cars and this is just another in the stable.

Same. I'd probably go for a pre-war BMW, but I don't even like the M1 $77k worth.

Given the auction results for E34 M5T earlier this year on BaT I don't think the results are crazy. Perhaps small premium was paid between the bidders but if this is the car you want - there aren't a lot of examples for sale and even fewer in that condition. I'd be willing to bet the buyer is ecstatic.

The blue cloth is like the Owafix gloves of the 911 world, where the obsession with originality is even more overboard. "Original" toolkits can go for $1k :rolleyes

That B7 is seriously cool, though.

You ought to check out some Ferrari tool kit prices, single(shi!!y Italian steel) wrenches go for that much if associated with certain cars.

While this^ seller is know for bold prices he consistently has stuff on offer and does apparently get them sold.

Now THAT was entertaining, thanks for the link. I am completely not surprised considering there are Ferrari owners that brag online their cars have never been wet (ever), but it's good to get some perspective that maybe some of the original 30-yr-old tire Porsche purists aren't that bad.

LOL.Yes, like that Amazon horse commercial where all the stud big horses look down on the little pygmy horse, and the owner has to install a doogie door in her house. That kind of stable?

Well i am also surprised that the jump went to 77 smackers,, not saying the car is not worth it,,, but in the coming years every kind of car like this (( all these after-sought hardcore cars)) will be an investment for many ,,,

i was expecting 50.000$+ for this B10 BT,, but this amount is just great for the seller
