My 2000 stalls when the engine start to worm up. I flushed the engine with a quart of Diesel with the old oil still in the engine then I drain the oil and put in new oil and filter washed the engine then that's when it started stalling out after the engine had warmed up and it will not start back up until the engine cools back down any suggestions

The first step in diagnosing a BMW us READ THE CODES. That is, scan the engulf computer for fault codes even if the SES light isn't on. ALWAYS.

You probably got water in the plug wells, take the plastic cover off and blow out the wells thoroughly.

Ok thanks I will let y'all know how goes. I bought this z3 from a Freind two weeks ago the oil and engine was pretty bad. I think when I put the Deisel in the old nasty motor oil or when I put degreaser on the engine and pressure washed the engine a week ago I did something wrong. Just a quick overview on what did.

Ok blow water out of the plugs, lots of water. It stayed running but after the engine got up to temp it started sound like it is missing and it has a slight back fire after I revved it up a few times. I think one of the catalytic converters at the engine is some what clogged. Any other suggestions.

Changed all six spark plugs and all six coil packs runs great now.
Now it's time to work on the exhaust took tale pipes off to find out if the back catalytic converter and or the muffler is clogged.
Question I wonder if I really need that third converter in the back of the car sense no wires go to it.

3rd convertor?!, joking, I hope, you only have 1, wires go to O2 sensors.

Yes your right resinator. I can just cut that out right ? This car is from California now it's with me in Texas.

Why would you cut it out? It doesn't hurt anything and all that you will accomplish by removing it is introduce exhaust drone. If you think the cats are a problem diagnose the cats, resonators are not a failure item and I would leave them alone
I'm going to tow this to the Z3 section so you can get some more relevant answers

Bimmer breaker thanks. I know the front converter is restricted the rear converter seem good. I took off the long tail pipe that has the resinator and the muffler on it. Car seems to run better it must be a restricted muffler or resinator. I want to use this car as a road race car. So can I just gut the converters and trash the resinator and place muffler with a flow master muffler. ??
