My 92' 525i just tipped the 145,000 mile maker this past week which brings me to approximately 15,000 miles since I purchased her in July without any mechanical issues!!:D.. that being said I noticed this week once the cars warmed up it seems to be hesitant to sit back at normal idle. It will sit just over 1,100 rpms then after about 30 seconds bog down to 900 then 800 if I'm at a long red light... haven't had time to trouble shoot, figured I'd reach out for advise before rolling up my sleeves on the subject!

15000 miles in 9 months? Dang.

Is your throttle cable lubed and properly adjusted? Back when I was experimenting with the cable to investigate an idle problem, I noticed that temperature seemed to affect the setting.

haha may have worded that a bit odd, it was purchased with 130, now at 145... 15 in the few months, she's my work horse! I'll take a look at it, could only hope its that simple!
