Springs and Struts

I'm starting to hear a little bit of sound from my rear suspensions and would appreciate what you guys recommend for replacement/upgrade. I'm not sure if I want to do any lowering but might consider it if the price is right for a decent springs and struts package. My car is an 01 740iL and I'm yet to find out if has a stabilizer.

I've seen guys go with H&R springs and Bilsteins shocks/struts. They seem to enjoy that setup. I enjoy my stock ride setup. Still rides like a dream.

If you hear a bit of sound chances are your shock mount are blown...I went with h&r stage 2, on stock edc shocks, and they ride pretty nice on small bumps, big bumps are pretty rough but I think its bottoming out on bump stop. I discovered one of the shock mount is blown, so I order shocks mounts and bilstein sport, Im gonna run the shocks without bump stop, and I think its impossible to bottom out cuz the sport shock shaft are too short to bottom out. I can be wrong but I'll find out.

is there a big difference in prices between the stock and Bilstein and H&R?

I'd be fine with something like this. Simple bunch of them are sold and the price is great. What do you guys think..
