Whats up Craigslist!
I have for sale a 1998 BMW 323I Convertible. It was owned by my late father for the past 2 years, and kept in great condition, especially for its age. Only 98k miles. Regular maintenance to include synthetic oil changes. He paid $5500 cash for it 2 years ago off Craigslist when it was in MINT condition @ 90K miles, and it was a previous one-owner vehicle. It is stil in very good condition, and with some minor repairs, it will be a beauty. Never been in any accidents, the A/C blows cold, and it has a nice aftermarket stereo system (the stock head unit will also be included). Strong engine and good clutch on the 5 speed 6 cylinder engine.
The only issues is that the top sticks at the halfway point (common BMW convertible problem -- I have a 99 M3 and it does the same thing), however you can still get the top down manually. Also, the floor mats are a little dirty/greasy, but brand new OEM mats still in the plastic wrapping will be included. The check engine light came on approximately 1 month ago (code is reading an EVAP system leak, an easy fix) and I have not driven the vehicle in 3 weeks. There is a small size crack in the windshield, on the passenger side, but it is crawling downward, so will not grow to the other side.
Only reason I am selling is because I just recently purchased a plug in hybrid. This was my daily driver for 6 months. I'd like more time to dedicate to finishing my 99 M3 500HP Vortech build.
See pictures and text or call for more details on the condition of the vehicle. This is a great candidate for a turbo s52 build. I currently have an s52 for sale that came out of my M3 that I could include with the vehicle for the right price.
Vehicle is located in Denton, Texas, give Doug a text or call at 972 695 9488 to setup a showing or take her for a test drive.
