Hi everyone, been quite awhile since I've visited the site.
I have a 1996 black 750il with 120k miles on it. The car has sat for over four years in an industrial storage building that I work in. Car works fine, I start it up occasionally. Battery is pretty much shot, I have to charge it right before I start it.

Right before I stopped driving it I replaced the waterpump, radiator, hoses, expansion tank, etc.
It has a little bit of damage to drivers side headlight. Car was hit by another car at low speed, breaking the headlight glass and denting the sheet metal a little where the amber turn signal lamp is at.

Other than that, the car runs well. Suspension in the back and front are in need of attention though. Car has 4 OEM M parallels that are all in very good shape, front tires are shot, rear tires are very good with 5-6k miles on them. Spare is a honeycomb style rim. Continental DWS 275-40ZR18 are the tires on the back.

I like the car but I have other cars that I just like better at this point. It just sits there. So I'm seeing what you guys think. Part it out, or sell as a complete car? I'm not looking for much, figure I can get 1500 in parts maybe, if I babysit selling them over a period of time.

Your thoughts?

Regards

You could probably get a lot more for it as a whole car, especially if it runs properly. Get some good condition used tires to replace the fronts, get a new battery, replace the headlight glass, and get a body shop to fix the dent.

Your car has rather low miles on it for the year, and it has some pretty nice wheels, so once the car is in good condition you could probably get $3000-$4000 for it.
