I have a power steering leak from the hose that goes from the radiator to the pump. There is a metal tubing connected to 3/4" OD rubber hose. The leak is coming from this connection. There is a crimped ring type clamp, and I am guessing PO put a warm type clamp above the other clamp. Still leaks from that area. I am thinking about removing both those clamps and putting in a stronger clamp. I was looking for T-Bolt type clamp but can not find one @ 3/4 OD size.

Any suggestion on how to clamp this hose? What type of clamp?

Once they start leaking I think they are history. They are definitely a weak spot....usually the high pressure one starts first and then the rest follow. Mine was replaced about ttwo years ago with only ~28K miles and to be honest it is starting to seep again. They leak at the joint where the rubber and metal meet. I think I am going to take my current hose to a local hydraulic shop that will build any hose to your liking. They say theirs will not leak!

The hose you are describing is the return from the steering box not the pump. It's mostly a steel hard line with that 4 inch section of rubber.
The cheapest and my opinion best way is to replace just that piece of hose. Remove the hose from the hard line and remove the fitting from the cooler. With a dremel cut the crimped collar off, careful not to cut into the pipe. Get a piece of p/s hose from any parts store and 2 quality screw type hose clamps. Better than new. The hard line and the cooler end have bubble flares already.
I think it's ridiculous to have a crimp on collar and a little pinch clamp on the same hose. One is overkill and the other sucks.
