Interior interchange

I am looking at a 93 525it with black interior as a parts car to swap it's black interior into my 94 530it(produced 3/93).

Is there anything that does not interchange between the two cars? Mainly concerned about the parts that would be touring specific.

If this works out, I just might be parting a touring out.

i'm interested in a rear glass hatch in good shape, and i might be interested in more touring parts.

i think the interior swap is ok between model years. i've never seen any information otherwise.

Both cars are tourings, right? All interior parts are 100% interchangeable.

Generally yes, but...

There may be differences in power seat wiring harnesses. I can confirm that early cars had different seat heater wiring than later ones (but it's easy to hack). I don't know what the cutoff date is.

If one car has ASC and the other doesn't, I don't know if the ASC button near the shifter can be retrofit easily.

If one car has a rear cig lighter and the other doesn't, you'll need to add wiring to make it work.

Passenger airbag may be an issue.

Also, if that 525iT happens to be a Value Package with no sunroof...
1. the headliner and grabhandles won't fit quite right, and
2. if it's also black on the outside, I might want what's left of the body shell. PM me please if this is the case.

i don't need the wiper parts of the hatch-glass. how does the third brake light look? is it any good?
