Hey gents,
I have a 1992 - 325is. I'm getting ready to paint my front bumper, anyone know how to remove the front license plate mount on the front bumper? Do I take the 4 screws out of the license plate and pry it off like the tow cover? Or what do I do? Not really in the mood to break piece off my car guessing. Thanks

Replace it with the delete strip, it cleans up the bumper nicely. I keep my plate and mount in the trunk, it the law pulls me over I can change them out before they can write a ticket.
560660560661all the bumper trim just pulls off. It just clips in. Get a towhook mount for it, it will clean up the look. I get lots of compliments on mine. Seriously, it seems pricey but it's worth every penny.

Then what JMO said. Get the oem bmw delete strip from the dealership, it will run about 30 bucks or you can buy it here.

The stock mount and plate is in the trunk, if I fold the seat down I can grab it pull the delete strip out and pop the plate back on.

I also keep a few set of plates in the trunk..but out of curiosity wont you get fine for not displaying your plates? by the time cop stops you hes already there, can you just put a plate on while hes writing, wont it make it null? Jmo, seriously, I find it hard to understand unless you are pulling our leg :D
