the car is a 98 328i that sat just about all summer long while i drove a pickup for my job. a couple months ago when i got home i started it up and heard a terrible sound. when i pulled it into the garage i found that the rad fan was missing 4 teeth. i found them in the garage it sat in so it i think it happened right when i started the car up. i can handle that just fine with a call to autozone but the biggest issue now is that the power steering pump is now just hanging. i can see broken aluminum on the pump but cant see anything on the block side. how is the power steering pump mounted to the block? is is some backet that can be replaced? if so where do i get one? the car runs fantastic and i hate to let is sit sadly covered in snow. i wanna sell the car as i dont really need it anymore and would like to get this fixed first. all i need is to get the pump back on the block the rest is easy stuff to get the car back to the fantastic running shape it was in when i parked it. i just dont know how to get it remounted. thanks in advance for any advice

The pump just mounts with like 3 bolts thru its body I think.

easy to do, 5 bolts, 3 on pump 2 on body, very easy thing to do, 3 bolts on the pulley ofcourse, and did you know the belt can be removed just by pulling on it a bit and then locking it with a allen key, no ratchet/breker bar/ torx/hex socket needed at all!
