OEM floor Mats - What color of Floor mats came with a M6 with Lotus white interior

What were the original color of floor mats for a 1987 M6 with Lotus White interior ?

When I was buying these cars new in the mid/jate 80's, the dealers installed the mats, so I don't think there's any standard. For example, my E30 M3 had the pearl beige interior, but I asked for the charcoal gray floor mats.

I bought a low mileage L6 back in the early 90's and the mats were anthracite (dark gray).

Would love to know the answer to this as well. I think I'm just going to go with grey mats, but if there is a color out there that is close to the lotus white carpet I might go with that.

The cars were generally shipped to the US without mats and then they were installed by the dealer. The dealers sourced the mats from BMWNA and were made here in the US and were sourced from various vendors over the years.

The lotus cars were usually sold with dark gray or black mats.

I chose the dark gray mats with my pearl beige interior because the contrast looks nice and the dark mats don't show dirt as readily. I would think it would be a bear keeping white mats looking clean.
