Custom headers - pipe length questions

Hi.

I'm wondering has anybody had to manufacture custom headers for their S50B32 for an engine converison into another car.

I'm getting ones made and I'm going to ask the fabricator to use the same diameters as the original Euro headers.
This is for a 3.2L Motor.

Due to the chassis it's going in, we might not be able to make the headers as long as the original ones, how far can we deviate from that
until it begins to affect low end torque. Does anybody have any experience running different headers and what sort of tube lengths and diameters did you have?

according to pipemax ~23" is the length to go for. what do the stock ones measure out at?

collector length is more important than primary lenght

what diameter are the stock ones? might be worth getting a stepped header made as they work well on the S54

Just interested, what is the S50B32 going into? Or is that top secret?

pipemax calls up 18.4" primaries and secondaries for mine.

yeah rpm a lil different though....lol
