WTT my 18 button OBC for your 11 button OBC...

I have an 18 button OBC planned on doing the conversion but have lost interest and decided I would be happy with just the 11 button unit. Mine works great, I think it has one dim bulb, $3 at the dealer and an east install. If you have a good operational 11 button unit lets trade.

just wondering, right now I have an 11-button OBC. If I put an 18-button in and not hook up the second harness, would the buttons still light up? Just that the buttons won't function right? I just want the look...does anyone know?

It wont work... not without the 2nd pigtail and rewiring. The power inputs are in different pin locations.

Not a lot of work to make just the temp display and the lights go on, but you need the pigtail.

Sounds like a deal Krystos if yours is perfectly functional (no dead pixels or anything). Would you be willing to get all working bulbs in it, since you are getting the better end of the deal?

Actullay, I'll pass at this time. I'll be removing the OBC in favor of an in-car computer shortly anyway.
