I have 18" rims with 235/40's on now. I have rolled the rear fenders so I am good there. But I have always rubbed in the front when turning hard right or left. Question is I am lowering car by installing Billstein sports with H&R springs. I know I am going to have issues in front. Any suggestions for tire sizes or should I just go to 17" wheels???

Thanks
Dewey

sounds like the offset is wrong on your current rims.

You also have a tire that is taller than stock by about 3/4" and that could be the problem.

So would 225's up front help or should I just go with 17's ???

I run 225/40/18 and they rub in the front when I turn easy or hard (they rub in the rear when I go over a bump too).

The 225/40R18 should work fine with the correct offset wheel on a 3 Series.
