Seat spring retainer clips?

I am replacing the gas springs on my manual sport seats and didn't pick up the right retainer clips - the star rings that secure the ends of the springs. Does anyone have a part # and maybe a source I can get some?

Stock part is for a 5.75mm shaft which McMaster does not list. Were you able to get a 6mm part to work ?
