Absolutely Mint/Restored 840 with Virgin Motor (http://www.panjo.com/buy/absolutely-mint-restored-840-with-virgin-motor-236502)
This truly may be one of the most pristine and unique finds within the world of BMW 8 Series coupes. It is not just fresh from taking Judge's Choice at the Boston BMW Chapter's Concours D?Elegence Event this August, its power plant is fresh as well - as part of the restoration, the original Nikasil motor was replaced, as I sourced the last available M60 Alusil factory long block in the U.S. and it has less than 800 miles on it!
The mechanical update was followed by a spare-no-expense show quality refinishing in early 2015 that included removal of all trim and replacement of sunroof panel (fully rebuilt mechanicals), bumper covers and any less than perfect trim/moulding. Back to mechanicals, suspension is perfect as all springs and struts/shocks and any suspect bushings replaced. It has a brand new fuel pump, radiator, and starter etc., basically any bolt on. Brake pads, rotors and tires all brand new. No abuse, virtually all OEM parts from dealer. This car is part of a four BMW household that includes the runner up at the Boston, MA show to the 840, the owner?s Concours winning E24 M6. Most anyone in the E24 community will attest to my maturity and fanaticism with the cleanliness and perfect nature of my automobiles. You will not find an E31 with a fresher factory motor no with a finish that matches that of this automobile.
