Hi Guys
I want to replace the chrome trim pieces on the front bumper and it seems i will have to take the whole bumper off to access them. So my question, does anybody have a step by step guide or pictures on how to remove the front bumper?
Thanks

Really simple, two large bolts mount it to the frame rails-- accessible under the hood behind the headlights. For help, look at realoem diagram
Item #4 in the second, one on each side

The way to remove a euro bumper is different than that of the US bumper with the impact shocks. You will find 2 attachment points at either side end where the assembly attaches to the fender at the wheel well. Then you will find 4 carriage bolts (2 on either side) that attach the bracket to the frame rails. You access these from under the car and they only need to be loosened and then the bumper can be slid forward out of the frame rails.

You will probably have to grind away or saw the crash bar the import company installed, so you can access the nuts that secure the chrome

US is very easy, two bolts on each strut as mentioned. I am not familiar with euros.

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a winner! It was easy taking it off but a pain putting the bumper back
