Hi guys, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place with an Alpina but it's worth a shot. I'm not sure if this is real or a csi cloned to look like a B7 turbo coupe.
the vin number is WAPB7TC015B720029, the lack of alpina stripped seats and the plaque on the centre console leave me with doubts about it.
opinions?

Lack of the Alpina cloth seats is not uncommon in the e24 especially the ones with the e28 chassis. The BWW leather was an additional charge and option on the B7, B9 and B10.

The dash plaque should be on the hand brake console.

The VIN you have posted is an Alpina VIN and you should be able to confirm info with Alpina directly.

I believe there is a knob in the parking brake area "I can see it in the pic" from what I remember it was some type of boost adjust. I couldn't see anyone going far enough to add that as its most likely rare

Beautiful car. That does look like an Alpina VIN, so I hope it works out for you. Keep us posted, and if you buy it, we'll be expected more details and pics.

BEAUTUFUL!
congrats
so did you pick it up from Japan auction?
these cars have been accelerating in value in Europe. Just check mobile.de if you have not already. 75- 100k euro :)
would love to know what you picked it up for and more specifics on the car.PM me
mine is # 012 in the registry.
Kees who handles the registry is cool. Contact him in that forum and he will update # 029on the registry asuming the car is not staying in Japan by your post signature location
If you have not already found it here is an Alpina forum

BRAKE BIAS ADJUST??
You are corrected sir , it is a boost adjust for turbo. Can be dialed up or down while driving depending on whether the other car is gaining on you or not, or ....if you need to catch up, as infrequently as that occurred in that era especially.

Japanese car? Very common for Alpina B7's, B9's and B10's. More than likely correct. Looks real enough. The Japanese were very big on Alpina 6'ers.

Yeah we bought her and are just arranging a container for her now where she'll be shipped to Ireland to her new owner who is a rare and classic car dealer. It'll be put on sale as soon as it lands I'm guessing. I would love it for myself but I would prefer to keep my balls lol

Congrats
So what is/ was the auction price?
i cannot read japanese!
Also please post the link to when it is back up for resale.

No harm taking it for a drive to make sure everything is on up & up when it arrives in Ireland !!!
Do you have to go thru similar import process as us here in USA when it comes into your country Ireland?
It's about 10-15 k to import one here I believe.

Its more like 6-8 here in the US. Would have been less to the west coast but had to come around to Savannah. Now if you factored in the Alpina front spoiler that disappeared: you can add an additional 2k by the time it is replaced, painted and striped.

yeah we bought her non running which was reflected in the auction price , we took a calculated risk and found the problem was just a distributer issue, all fixed now and running perfectly. it was a big risk at over 30k but worth it in the end
