I found this forum from Google.
I am building a little Triumph TR8 hillclimb car, with an M62B44 engine, dry sumped with S62 ITB's, on DTA S100PRo
Ive a spare M60B44 & a spare M62B44, i had planned to build the M60 Timing gear & heads over not he 4.4 bottom end for higher compression and sharper cams.
Ive read over on this forum of guys sleeving the blocks and running S62 Crank, forged rods & pistons with supercharged and turbo builds. Has any run a sleeved & forged N/A setup with higher RPM limit.?
Looking at my options, i don't really want to just drop an S62 in.
Thanks

Your best bet would be to ask in the E39 forums since they deal with that motor most frequently.

It's Google that pointed me this direction, I've read about quite a few engined being lined / stroked and fully forged. Most for forced induction tho!

There's plenty of top end in my M60B44, pulls hard up to the 7k rpm limiter. A sleeved block and forged internals my be overkill for your power goals. Many M60/M62's have supported 500+whp on stock internals and a supercharger. definitely an interesting package your putting together, Should make that little Tr8 FLY up that hill.

I would ideally like to stay NA, I had really only planned to build forged for a balanced better reving engine.
It should weigh into 900kg, running a 3.75:1 diff ratio on 13" wheels.

300+hp in a car that weighs less than 2000 lbs? Thats a serious power to weight ratio:stickoutt
