Anyone have any advice on this?: I'd like to install a performance software upgrade in my 2013 328i Convertible (mostly to try and improve the piss-poor throttle behavior). Looks like there are two comparable products out there: THIS ONE (http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-11518-turner-performance-software-for-e9x-328i-sulev.aspx) from Turner or THIS ONE (http://store.activeautowerke.com/collections/software/products/active-autowerke-bmw-e9x-328i-bmw-128i-n51-n52-performance-tune-software) from Active. Both claim the same BHP and Torque improvements and both are roughly the same price. The big difference I can see is that Turner wants me to ship them my MCU while Active provides both a home-install option and a network of dealers that will install the software for me.

Just wondering if anyone had experience with this type of mod from either of these companies.

TIA!
Mark

I got the AA for my E91 (which is the wagon), I like it, but I also purchased the Simon OBD port so I could install myself. It's a nice thing to have for reading codes anyways. Smoothed things out, nice throttle response.

Thanks! That's what I'll go with, then.
