Hopefully someone can help shed some light on my issue.
Vehicle: 2011, 335i/coupe E92-M sport pkg.
Mileage: 62k
N55 Engine
Under moderate to hard acceleration in only gears 3rd-6th I'm experiencing a 1-2 second power delay. The throttle pushes the RPMS but my car has delayed acceleration response. Depending on how hard I accelerate, RMPS surge up by 1-3k, then climb back down when actual acceleration takes place. It almost feels like the rear wheels are spinning but not catching, obviously that isn't the case.. Happens during gear shift and acceleration in same gear. This may have nothing to do with the issue but I first noticed problem after a minor accident. Car was in the body shop for body and paint work on the passenger side door. The body shop detailed under my hood, cleaned it up very nice but preformed no mechanical service. Could something have come disconnected or damaged when they cleaned? I have zero codes on the car. I just replaced all spark plugs and coils hopping this would solve the issue, it hasn't.. While I had everything apart doing the tune up I inspected for any loose wires or disconnections but did not find. This is my first post on this site. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
