Trans issues on my new car.

I just bought my car 3 weeks ago from the bmw dealer.
The car runs really good and smooth in the highway. But feels like something is not right on 1st and 2nd gears.
They did a software update that I don't know what that has to do with the trans.
But it still feels the same way.
I have 60 days to get it fixed free of charge then after 60 days my warranty would kick in with my $500 deductible.
Any advice on what I should tell them?
It also vibrates at time of start up.
Not even my 02 330i does that.

Give them the most specific possible description of the problem.

Specific speeds, gears, what you feel, the conditions under which you observe the problem (light throttle, feathered throttle, heavy throttle).

In other words do everything possible to first determine exactly when and how the condition occurs, then share that specific information with the service people. Most owners are pretty bad at describing the conditions under which they perceive problems.
