Car starts vibrating when idiling

So my 633csi 5speed started to vibrate a lot while idiling after i was driving and missed a gesr ehich in turn i redlined all the way. Now thr car is rough idiling i think its called. Before it ran fine. I read it may be a vacuum leak or did i fuck it up really bad? The shifter is literally vibrating like a vibrator.

Possible that you grenaded the clutch. That would be better than floating valves. I guess it is time for a leak down test.

I don't think it's a vac leak, but it doesn't hurt to check. Does the vibration change or stop when you engage the clutch?

Drove around today and after driving a while it got better but still has a bit of vibration to it. Its like the entire car. The steering wheel and the rest of the vibrates not just the shifter. Also what is a leak down test? Still pretty new to car restoring and stuff.

Didn't your rev delimiter kick in and reduce you to 3 cylinders temporarily like it is supposed to ?
What's your tach doing during the rough idle ?

A rev limiter will keep the revs from climbing while accelerating by cutting fuel but if you miss a shift: you could have a mechanical over rev and force the engine into spinning faster than intended. Could be a broken rocker arm which would be evident by pulling the valve cover.

Car runs okay now. Just going to fix tighten the valves.
