My 2009 328Xi runs great with 84000 miles on it. I've owned it as a CPO since 32K and it is probably running original spark plugs. Fuel consumption is fine and the engine runs smoothly. No complaints at all. Before the cold northeast winter arrives, should I be concerned about replacing the spark plugs? Just how many miles should I, realistically, expect from the original spark plugs?
i don't have a garage so if I need to replace the plugs, I don't want to do it in the middle of the winter.

I believe the recommendation by BMW is 100,000 miles on the 328i. If you're concerned about it, then it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to change them earlier.

Change them. I change mine at 50k miles. Some people have reported difficulty removing plugs that have been in engines for 100k miles. Why risk it?

Agree w Cochise. Take them out if they look fine then put on some anti-seize stuff on the threads and put them back in.
Good to remove your plugs every 3 yrs to avoid seizing.
