Key blade vs remote fob to open door - causes memory settings to be different

New owner of a 2011 335i Convertible without comfort access . I have two key fobs that have the key blade that can be pulled out of the fob. The problem I experience is when I use the key blade to open the door the memory settings on my stereo are different than if I use the key fob remote to unlock the door. I am not sure why this happens. The only way to get the settings that I really want (which are the settings on the remote fob) is to lock the car with the remote fob and open it with the remote fob again. Why are there different memory settings when using the key blade? I like to use the key blade to open the hard top but every time I do this I end up with different memory settings. Can someone please enlighten this noob. Thanks.

I do know that each key fob has its own personal settings. Each key fob can have different presets saved. Not sure why the key blade does that, try switching the two and see what happens.
