I want the blue headlight look. I know i need the xenon headlights. however half the info i find is "buy this kit" or "just diy it this way" and the other half isn't the blue look. can someone please for the love of god direct me in the right way? Is it a kit, is it a simple plug and play, what is the best, both looks and cost effectivness, answer to this question?:mad

Get whatever HID kit you want. Buy 6000 K to 8000 K bulbs for the blue look. Drive into Douchebaggaton like a baws.

your '95 should have factory projectors which makes it OK to run HID's in. 5k is usually bright white, 6k starts to get blue, as so on. Is the chart as seen above. Factory bulb is the 9006 style.

12K or GTFO :dunno

Pro tip:
Start your search using the term DDM then see where that leads you. Should tell not to use them but will give you good sources and even how to
install them without tach errors.

I do not spoon feed folks who demand answers.

Either way, good luck finding advice on the subject. Most people here will call you a moron and tell you to do it the proper way. I'm one of those people.
Blue, in general, looks bad.
Blue, in general, performs bad.

Get proper bulbs for the proper housings.

Don't see why everyone feels the need to chime in when they don't like something. This is his car we're talking about, if he likes the look of purple lights that blind oncoming drivers then so be it. These cars are relatively cheap nowadays, don't get surprised when you start seeing cheap mods you don't care for. That's why you have your car and they have theirs.

When stupid mods directly affect other's safety on the road, it's reason enough to chime in. Anything above 4500k is a waste, and above 6000 should be banned. Let alone they probably won't be aimed correctly in the first place.

That and saving someone from getting laughed/cursed at never hurts either.

When someone acts like a childish moron here, we have no problem telling them. If you can't handle the truth then leave. The forum isn't going to change its ways to appease your feelings.

Lol you even answered his post, with a source on his question. So i'm not sure who's acting like a "childish moron" around here. Wasn't necessarily referring to you but if the shoe fits feel free to wear it.

Should be more worried about those douchebags with lifted trucks that drive around with their high beams on, mostly HIDs too (high beams = douche, not lifted truck) and the new cars that come STOCK with brighter lights than you can put on your car. Which are usually not aimed correctly either.
All i'm saying is if a ricer wants to put a wing on his civic, or a mustang driver wants to put slicks on with stock internals, etc, etc, etc, your opinion is nothing more than that, and will probably motivate them to go even bigger, brighter, dumber. Don't go to car meets/shows.

If you want to DONK your car or put a bunch of stick-on graphics, that's your call. But headlights are a safety issue for others on the road.

Any of the blue-light 9006 bulbs will give you the look. Real 4500K Xenons will give you the "blue-ish" look of OEM Xenons AND do the best job of increasing your visibility. Anything above that, and not only are you blinding other drivers but you're actually diminishing your own visibility.

I'm all for folks doing whatever they want to their cars. But a persons right to customization ends when other drivers' safety is involved. If you are the kind of person who thinks a "look" is more important than your own safety or the safety of others, then I think people have a right to admonish that.

I'm not saying that's what the OP wants. You can get blue lights in 9006 and they look cool. If you get good ones they are very similar in look to Xenons. Or get a good 4500K true Xenon kit and you'll have great visibility, but be sure and aim them properly.
