Squeaking noises from rear end

'89 e34 525i. when driving and seemingly only after making right or left hand turns there is a squeaking noise coming from the rear of the car. the noise sounds almost like a caliper with no brake pad left making a metal to metal squeaking noise that almost oscillates as the wheel turns. at certain points during the rotation of the year wheels there is more noise and at other points there is less noise. I checked to make sure I have plenty of brake pad left and I still do.

any suggestions as to other parts that might be making this type of noise?
