Happy Monday everyone,

I'm looking for feedback, advise knowledge from experience, etc... I'm looking into purchasing another e90. I currently own a 2011 328i sedan (manual 6speed) it's still pretty new and I have not encountered many issues or have had to replace anything. Long story short I'm about to go test drive a 2006 328i and possibly purchase it. It has 110,000 miles on the odometer. What should I look out for and what should I check up on? What parts are subject to excessive wear and need to be replaced? What are the main differences between the LCI model that I currently own and the pre LCI model I am test driving?

Thank you.

The valve cover will most likely be leaking - how bad is the question. $600 job if I remember. Plugs are due at 100k. Water pump is electric and can go anytime around 100k - if it hasn't been done negotiate it down. Shocks are probably shot. My starter died at 117k and the rule pump went at $120k.

Don't get me wrong. I love the car. Sitting at 125k now and it drives like 40k miles - with consistent maintenance. Good luck - A

Ha! 120kmiles! Had it done by a local wrench for like $450. DON'T go to BMW for silly wrench stuff.
