Warm air blowing from windshield vents

While driving lots of warm air from the engine compartment blows into the cabin. How do i stop this? Also i feel lots of warm air from the engine/tranny tunnel area radiating against my legs. Appreciate your feedback.

1) Your heater control valve may be the culprit. When they fail, you'll get a continuous flow of hot air. As far as heat from the engine compartment, there is a large grommet the size of a half dollar down where the brake booster enters the cabin. Mine was missing.
