So I have beEn seeing e34s with the AC Shnitzer spoiler and I think it looks great. But the spoiler itself is too small for the body and size of the e34. So the only oem style wing out there that would fix that problem would be the E30 M3 spoiler just a bit bigger for our 4 door sedans.
This is the look I'm looking for

But the setup the spoiler seems a bit small for the car
The e30 m3 has this

Hey looks it's the same color as mine :)
The e30 m3 trunk spoiler is 133cm long. The e30 m3 spolier goes from the tip of the end of the trunk to the other end. as the e34 trunk end to trunk end is 126cm long. The e30 m3 has a special trunk that the hole top lifts up while as the e34 the ends are part of the quarter panel. E30s and e28s had the whole back end lifted in line the newer e34/e36
So my question is. You think it's worth it to get a e30 m3 spoiler and have it shortened to the e34? The spoiler can still fit the e34 but you trunk won't open.
I think it will look waaaaaay better than the ugly oem e34 m5 spoiler and ac wing. Of course for the spoiler to look good the e34 in question must have a m5 rear bumper.
Thoughts?

Imo it's a bit tall for the e34. Have you looked into the e39 spoilers? A few of the non-m's came with a spoiler option

Just buy a schnitzer or zender spoiler and add a gurney flap. Or not. Because 3800lb family sedan from the 90s with sub 200 to the wheels.

I don't know if I like the gurney flap.. but...it will soon be boosted. But just because it's heavy doesn't mean it's can't have one. Car will look good. Better than dodge intrepid with a spoiler

Check the classified section. There is a dude selling a spoiler from an e30. He has pics of it on his e34. Msg him for details??

Yeah, my oem e30 pfeba spoiler fits pretty well on the e34, and it is for sale. IMO the e30 m3 spoiler's lines just don't blend with the e34 well. That's why you'll see someone replicating the m3 look by using an ACS spoiler and a gurney flap.

Yes, I was washing my car yesterday and noticed the e34 back is slightly rounded at the top of the trunk while the e30 m3 spoiler is very Sharp with no edges.
I found a e34 with the either acs wing or m tech wing and it's looks perfectly fine on the e34 but just not big enough to Match the cars whole entity. Maybe I may do the acs wing. I don't think I need the gurney flap. It's not a track car yet.

With regards to the ACS spoiler and the gurney flap. They never made a E34 spoiler with a gurney flap, but you can buy the E30 gurney flap for the E30 ACS spoiler and retrofit it. That's what the owner of the orange E34 has done. In fiberglass form it's under $200. In CF its nearly double. I'm going to give it a try one day, since I currently have 2 ACS spoilers. I'm going to hold onto my spare incase I screw it up...

Looks like the acs spoiler is what you want. E30 ones are just a hair wider than the trunk, I used to run the 318is rubber one and had to trim it to fit.

e30 m3 spoiler is worth more than most e34's.

Above pics are when I first obtained it, now it is sanded and painted in automotive gray primer.
The following pics are the most recent pics of the wing and of the CF flap.
Wing is currently in storage and I'll try and get new pics later today or by tomorrow.

Here's a few pics of non-M e30's running the Zender Evo wing.
Trents car, the Bronzit & later Henna, is running the same size CF flap that I have available.

That orange car needs door bottom trims, badly.
Not sure if the spoiler will look out of place on your car because of the front lip setup in your signature..... I think it works on the orange car because of the forward directionality of the lower M-tech bumper piece matching the pointy spoiler. Just a thought...
