WTT, I need a 96-99 E36 climate control unit...

My head unit for the climate control has gone out, I tried fixing it based on the instruction about soldering in a new capacitor but no luck. I have parts I can trade for one but I am on a budget, little cash to spend. If you need something and have a spare unit you can offer let me know.
I need the digital climate control unit under the radio in the dash. If you are one of the guys on this board that repairs these things I would be interested in that as well, I could trade you something for your services if its fixed.

You've probably already seen this but there's a thread a few above yours and the guy has a CC unit for sale - it does have the capacitor problem too but it might be fixable. I just did mine over the weekend, so the fix does work - at least so far. Here's the link:
