Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my post! It is my first! I have a 2003 330i ZHP with about 150k miles on it. I am looking over the next 5 years or so to put about $10k-16k into turning it into my own car. I would like to keep it naturally aspirated, but would like to squeeze another 30-40 hp outta the engine. here are the modifications that came to mind, please tell me what you think:
(not in any particular order)
1. compression raise from 10.2:1 to 11:1
2. Engine blueprint and balance
3. intake and exhaust tuning
4.computer reprogramming
5. *maybe* bore out cylinders.

keep in mind, I am a mechanic so I'm not worried about cost of pulling the motor, just sending it out to get it machined. one of my questions is if I raise the compression what parts do you guys think I will need to beef up so I don't blow it up! anything else you think I need to do I am open to suggestions!

Thanks!
