Megasquirt MS2: M50 trigger setup

Hi,

We have a enginesetup as follows:

- M50B25 engine
- dual M50 intake cams
- IGN-1A ingition coils
- HX40 turbocharger
- Waterinjection
- Megasquirt MS2 with extracode
- Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump
- Aeromotive A1000 fuelpressure regulator
- 6 x Siemens Deka 630cc injectors


I would like to doublecheck my settings and possibly get some confirmation from you if the ignition trigger settings are correct. The engine works fine, but there's a bit detonation-like sound when going to boost and I would like see if the basic settings are ok. There was something strange when we tried to check timing with timingstrobe light.

The fuel is ethanol-based E85. Fuelling algorithm is based on two tables: Alpha-N (with multiply map) + SD (multiplicitive table 90kpa - 300kpa)

That tooth #1 angle does not look correct. Is this a Vanos or NonVanos trigger wheel? They have different settings.

What did you find with the timing light?

seems to me like its falling edge as well. look at the aem infinity model specific setup (I know you are MS). the infinity doesnt require as many parameters but it does have a couple of those setings for the e36m3
