1984 E30 318i to M20 swap questions.

I picked up an 84 318i with a spun bearing a few weeks ago with the intent of swapping it to an m20. My question is if the transmission will bolt up. I had listed it on ebay but if it will fit I would rather keep it.

no it will not. the 84 318 uses a G240 and the M20 a G260. the transmission itself is not the problem, but the bellhousing is.
