NOTES: In terms of the car's condition, it is excellent! The back seat is like new (rarely used), the front passenger seat shows no wear and is smooth and supple. The driver seat had a small wear spot on the outside bolster that I had repaired so that it looks perfect now. The 'C' pillars are new, the headliner is new and the rear deck lid is new. None of these were replaced, by the way, because "they wore out" or were bad. The 'C' pillars and deck lid got windblown from the previous owner driving with all the windows down (the car looks real cool that way ? there is no "B" pillar ? so it is a true "coupe"). As the fabric ages, the glue that holds it starts to break down and the fabric gets "loose". Most people would never notice. I replaced the headliner when my son touched it and left a "finger print" in it that took a week to go away (an indication that the foam was losing its elasticity).
There are no pixel issues with the instrument display, all bulbs light properly, everything is original and works as it should with the possible exception (I can?t remember, I never use it) of the up and down moving of the passenger seat. The motor functions fine, but the cable may have slipped off track for that movement. It does work perfectly front and back.
The underside is very clean. I have spoken to 2 of the previous owners and believe them when they tell me it was only driven in wet by accident. It has never seen a winter and I never drive it in the rain. It doesn?t sit outside so there is no fading or bleaching of the interior.
The headlight buckets have both been properly repaired under warranty. This is a big deal - it can cost up to $1500 to repair them if they break. There was a factory recall that some dealers still honor ? mine were done by my dealer (who I have a great relationship with). It has never been in an accident. The nose had some stone chips that I had touched up and 1 scrape from the previous owner that I finally couldn't stand any longer so it is in the shop now having a new factory OEM bumper/nose that I found in Philadelphia installed (at a cost of $1,900). I have all the receipts for all the work that has been done on it (see list below). I took first place and best in class (among hundreds of German cars) at the Susan Koman Gute Marken Auto Show in 2006.

Mileage 79,000 5/01/05 - Replaced spark plugs, installed rear spoiler, installed Storage Armrest, installed AT high performance window tint. Installed 18" BMW Style 42 Wheels and Dunlop P-01 DSST run-flat tires.
Mileage 79,874 5/17/05 - Replaced Aux water pump and thermostat, balanced tires. Replaced fuel feed and return lines at firewall. Installed R/L outside Euro Mirrors. Replaced both cabin filters.
Mileage 80,333 6/17/05 - Both headlight adjusters replaced under service recall
