All,
Anyone in the Northwest is welcome to attend the 3rd Annual E30 Picnic coming up on June 27th in Bellevue, Washington State. We've got sixty E30s already RSVP'd. Details at this link.

We are making up a special T-shirt for a couple of E30 gatherings around the country this summer. You can mail order one of these shirts if you want. We are doing short and long sleeve T-shirts ($15 & $20) , sweatshirts ($30), and an apron ($20) for those BBQs in the backyard. Shirts need to be pre-ordered by June 18, we will then print the orders and ship out the shirts the first part of July.
Shirts will be 100% cotton and really nice. We did a different design last year that everyone really enjoyed.
PDF Order Form which has all the details and an order form:

Back of the shirt (front of the shirt will have "BMW M Team" on the left chest):

Would you be comfortable with Orderform +payment&postage in a sealed envelope, or just go the paypal route?

If it is just one or two items, then PayPal works good. If you are doing 3 or more items, then mailing in the order form with a check is probably easier. That way you get the order correct on the form I created. It is sort of tough to get all the variables noted in a PayPal if over 2 items. I can take personal checks, I'll just let them clear the bank before I mail the shirt order.
I'm an architect, not a retailer, so that's why there is no sophisticated on-line ordering option. These will be really nice shirts however, we did a similar shirt last summer, and they came out really nice, I'm working with a really good t-shirt shop here in Seattle. This same shop has done our shirts for our local BMW Club here in Seattle.

Lance, do you know by chance if these are the same BRAND t-shirts that you guys used last year? I got an XL, and they seemed to run fairly small, so I'm wondering if I should get a 2XL.

OK, I probably have some sort of ADD thing going on but did I miss what colors these come in?
I would LOVE a black one, what's available?

Yes, same brand of shirt. Fruit of the Loom - Lofteez. They are all cotton so they do shrink, even though they say preshrunk. So probably go up one size.
We are not doing black shirts, sorry. T-shirts options are white, light grey and orange. Sweatshirt in light grey only. The order form has all the details, give it a read.
Black would look a little goofy because you wouldn't be able to see the tires, i.e. black on black.
Let me know if you have any other questions about the picnic or DTM shirts.
cheers,
Lance

Here's a link if you want to make your own paper model of a Jagermeister E30
Caution dial-ups, 400k file.

OK, now cut me some slack, I'm not a retailer or much of a photog. But here are some images of the back of the white and light grey shirts. Also shown is the very cool apron, perfect for BBQs or in the garage.
Think white for social events, light grey for when you are getting dirty around your E30. At $15 a shirt, might as well get one of each. That's what I am doing.
The car models are in the images to try and show the true orange that the final shirts will be, but I'm learning orange is tough to get accurate in my digital camera. It comes out more redish. These prototype shirts are just to show basic layout, they did not use the final screening with the true inks that we are using when we go to print in a couple of weeks. Final shirts will be bright orange, like the real paint job on the Jagermeister car. Those of you that own the model already know the color. Almost like a traffic cone!
Remember deadline to order is June 18!
