Can anyone tell me what a typical price would be to replace the CCV on this model?
The weather has been below zero with windchill and I went out to start the car the other day and the engine light came on and white smoke started pouring out the back. I had my BMW mechanic stop over with a Jump Pack because it then wouldnt even turn over. He wanted to atleast get it started to diagnose. No dice....it felt like the engine was locked.
He said he will crank start it once the weather warms up this weekend and bring some other tools to get me a diagnosis. He is hoping its the CCV and not the Head Gasket.
