Since my last 5er, I have not been able to find a car that I feel in love with yet. And the ones I find that I like either sell before I get a chance to look at them, or they are not, in person, what they appear to be online. I've been out of the game for almost two years :(
What do you guys think of this?
Does this one have sports package?

Body and interior looks good however I wonder how the paint looks when it's not wet.
Pics always look better than the car so you need to put an eyeball on it.
What's that yellow blob around the bleeder screw, a poor attempt to fix a leak?
I didn't see any M5 bits that the Used Car lot ad mentioned.

The car is nice, it has the sport seats, steering wheel and shadowline trim. There are no (M5 options) on this car. The mileage and price are very attractive. I would PPI it and ask for service records if the car has any. So to answer your question, yes it is a sport but M5 options....No. Under the expansion tank bleeder screw as (JimLev) mentioned, it looks like epoxy, which is an awful attempt to fix a leak. Inspect for cooling system leaks by looking for dried white residue. Ask to at least have the tank replaced or subtract replacement from final price.

7k isn't a bad price if it's got records. Thing that's weird is the carfax - looks like they had it for a year, but it's "exempt from odo reading" ? What?
Blob like others ask around bleeder screw. Wonder if it was leaking or if the shroud started to fall off...

I paid $6300 for 2002 540i 100k miles, exactly the same exterior color, black interior, sport package, 2 years ago. I am not sure your local market but the price is bit high in my opinion, the car is pretty clean though, it has sport seats and 3 spoke sport steering wheel, I think it has sport package.
