I just got an oil change maybe a month ago but it seems now my engine is running rough. I can't describe the sound that I hear from the hood of the car but it sounds like it's coming from the belt. When is a good time to replace my belt? I have 85k miles on the car now

Belts can fail and do serious damage. At that mileage you should replace the belt, and the belt tensioner. You can find the parts you need here: www.ecstuning.com
It takes some muscle to relieve the belt tension, and you need to be careful because the spring is very strong.
If you have a Bentley manual, follow the directions in there and you will have a successful repair. Don't delay if you already hear noise.

Are you sure it's a belt? My 335 was running rough a few months ago and all I needed was new spark plugs and coil packs.
